Intellect A.K.A P.Jones of Nevastopus started focusing on making hip hop music after a tragic shooting in Highland California in which he and 3 other individuals were hit multiple times. Intellect and long time friend Stones (who's house the shooting took place in) decided to make an album more as a therapeutic tool than anything but with the great reviews they received from the underground hip hop scene in San Bernardino after their first album Illusions they kept going and made a second album entitled NEV-8 which includes such artists as Prestige and Daze from N.O.D, Money AK from 20 Money and the solo R&B singer Airick

Innovative and direct, Intellect displays a significant style not bound by region or genre combining big movie build ups with hip hop swagger in all aspect of his sound, every beat he makes has its highs lows and crucial drops that are sure to become mainstream among tomorrows hip hop pioneers. Beats are just one side of what this phonical genius is capable of, he also has the ability to rip raw on the mic as well, fusing old school jazz and soul with todays tongue twisting speeds of some of the most prominent mid west rappers.

In 2009 Intellect moved to Minnesota where he began to produce industry standardized tracks for a label called Kingsmen entertainment under the tutelage of a prominent reggae artist by the name of King Caliba. Caliba is responsible for Intellects sudden jump from underground know how to mainstream bangin

Intellect has since moved back to Arizona and is now one of the the newest additions and also has a connection with the underground label N.O.D. Entertainment to the Rip Raw Roster. he is a multi-talented craftsmen of his trades. As a producer he has developed ballads to songs with more style then most available today. He packs a mid west flavor and has been creating his own tracks for years. As an emcee Intellect is one of the most versatile and dangerous lyricists in the Hip Hop community. With a tongue twisted hurricane style and a spiritual and conscious vibe he blends the tempos and arrangements to his bidding. Intellect also is a gifted business mind and has a very good understanding of the industry and the direction things are going and how he would like things to go. We are proud to have him as part of the Rip Raw team.

Intellect is currently working on his third album with long time friend Stones and plans on finishing his solo album in the near future.
